The Emil Racovita Cave is situated in the northern most part of Moldova and is named after the 19th century Romanian biologist and zoologist Emil Racovita. An explorer of Antarctica, Racovita was the first biologist in the world to study the arctic life. The cave was discovered in 1959 and is the third largest gypsum cave in the world.

Pale straw in colour. this fruity Pinot Grigio is light and easy-drinking. Aromas of juicy melon lead into fresh flavours of pear and apple. Best served chilled, it is a great accompaniment to pan-fried scallops or a goats cheese salad.
