· Cooking food in various utensils or grillers Job brief We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele. Responsibilities · Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment · Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) · Cook food in various utensils or grillers · Check food while cooking to stir or turn · Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served · Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen · Ensure all food and other items are stored properly · Check quality of ingredients · Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages · Produce products to be sold in our onsite farm shop · Produce and co-ordinate meals and hampers to be sent to our Luxury lodge holiday parks. Requirements · Proven experience as cook · Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware · Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) · Ability to follow all sanitation procedures · Ability to work in a team · Very good communication skills · Excellent physical condition and stamina · High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage

    Café Front of House Staff

    Café Front of House Job Specification. Job brief We are looking for a skilled front of house to take orders, deliver food and make beverages for our customers. 

    The right candidate uplifts the dining experience for customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role. Responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill. If you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d like to meet you. To be successful, you should be polite with our customers and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our kitchen staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Keep in mind that Front of House duties may require working in shifts and occasionally during weekends and holidays. Ultimately, it is the duty of our café team to provide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities · Greet and escort customers to their tables · Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies) · Inform customers about the day’s specials · Ensure dining area and outside seating area are kept clean at all times. · Offer menu recommendations upon request · Up-sell additional products when appropriate · Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS and order slips · Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. · Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff · Serve food and drink orders · Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems · Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area · Deliver checks and collect bill payments · Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning · Meet with cafe staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties) · Follow all relevant health department regulations · Provide excellent customer service to guests · Help with set up and shut down – including the cleaning and sanitising. · Assist kitchen staff where needed, Requirements · Proven work experience as Front of House staff · Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (POS) · Basic math skills · Attentiveness and patience for customers · Excellent presentation skills · Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment · Active listening and effective communication skills · Team spirit · Flexibility to work in shifts · Food safety training is a plus

      Part Time Cleaners

      Part Time Cleaners We are committed to providing a safe, warm, clean, friendly and fun environment for our customers.

      Honesty, integrity and a positive can do attitude are key to providing the best experience for our holiday makers. We are currently recruiting a part time/flexible lodge cleaner to join our team at Osborn Leisure. You would need to be able to work Monday & Fridays aswell as other days, weekends and school holidays. The role is to work within our lodge holiday homes in various destinations around our holiday parks. Duties and Responsibilities: You will carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting vacuuming, emptying bins, bed changing, cleaning bathroom/toilets and rubbish disposal You will ensure that lodges are cleaned to the highest standards at all times You will move around the park throughout the day with cleaning supplies and bedding using a trolley/buggy. You will need to make sure the outside space of each lodge and communal areas are kept clean of rubbish and debris Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly Top up cleaning bottles after use to ensure stocks are maintained. A key role would be in creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for your guest to arrive on their holiday. Skills and Qualities: Good communication skills An outgoing personality and a pleasant manner A smart and tidy appearance Tact and diplomacy for dealing with customers The ability to work well in a team A flexible approach to work Previous cleaning experience is preferred and full site training will be provided. Full driving licence and own transport would be an advantage as the holiday park is a rural area.
